This took my breath away.Mini Kelly in Vert Criquet Ostrich, GHW
To me, the type of leather makes a huge difference with this color. I tend to prefer greens with a blue undertone rather than yellow, but it’s not a dealbreaker. However, when my SA called, I was racking my brain trying to picture this combo; an online search for anything in VC Ostrich yielded almost nothing at all. I found one Instagram account with a few photos, so I DMed the person to ask which of her photos was most accurate.
Anyway, when we opened the box at the bouique, I discovered that Vert Criquet is lighter and less yellow in Ostrich, more of pastel shade of green. I also think it’s a color that I can carry year-round, and it will go with a lot of the colors that I wear.

I have a K28 epsom sellier in the same color and in ostrich, the color is so different.

I also got a B30 in caban but I’m unsure if the hardware is gold or rose gold. Is there an easy way to tell from the info on the box? Forgot to confirm with SA in Paris before I left. Can I see a picture of yours? I love that it is blue or black depending on lighting.
Maybe others can chime in about the info on the box because I don’t know. I’m still a newbie.
I also took a photo with my belt that has gold hardware for comparison. I think you would be able to tell immediately when you see the keys or the lock because they definitely have the copper tone as opposed to yellow.

If you have the receipt there’s a code on there for the item that will tell you which hardware color it is (the code is also on the sticker on the box but sometimes they take the sticker off).
Basically look at the ending of the code (the code starts with H) and it is either going to be CC or CD (before another two digits will tell you the color code, in the case of Caban that would be 3Y). CC means gold hardware and CD means rose gold.

Same. I love big bags in retourne that showcase the movement of the leathers but that sellier was something else: structured but not rigid like a briefcase.
