So I am such a novice at sewing. Does anyone have step by step instructions for sewing the top of the draperies to make pinch pleats? Let me say I know to sew the liner and fabric wrong sides together. That's about it! So any info, instructions, directions would be EXTREMELY helpful! TIA!

I am terrible at sewing anything other than a straight line, but I googled really quickly.

This looks easy enough- I think I could actually handle it, which is a good sign that maybe it is not too hard! What about watching some YouTube videos- I am sure they have some on the topic- I know they have tons on knitting and crochet.

I'm not sure if they also have these in the states...but here in Germany we have these bands that we sew to the top of the fabric...there are strings in the bands that are then pulled and it automatically creates pleats (or whaetver else you want depending on the band)...
