Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a new ring for a milestone that will happen next month, and I fell in love with Bulgari’s Serpenti line.
My current stack means a lot to me :
Right hand middle finger my 40th birthday present to myself, Cartier WG small clash. Left hand middle finger my eternity ring (aka the « revenge ring » I bought when my ex left) stacked with a small VCA WG perlée.
Yesterday I went to Bulgari to try the Serpenti rings in WG and they were stunning. The only problem was I couldn’t make the biggest one go with the rest, it had to be worn alone :

The smallest one was nice stacked in my left hand :

But the first one is much more striking!
The SA said that I could only wear the big one and my clash, but the others 2 mean a lot to me and I’m used to wear everything at once.
Later, I thought of another solution: stacking my clash left to wear the big serpenti right.

What do you think of this solution?
Is this too much?
Does it « minimise » the clash?
Should I be reasonable and take the smaller one that is perfect with the rest? Or, even more reasonable should I take neither and look at something else?
Sorry for the long and complicated post and TIA for your advices!

Honestly, the Bvlgari ring doesn't do much for you, so I would look for something else. If you're set on the ring, how about wearing it on the index finger instead?
Thank you so much for your kind and honest answer. I tried it at the pointer finger and it didn’t fit very well. The XL was too small and the XXL to big. I didn’t like it much…
Sometimes it is difficult just to admit that something you love is not for you especially if you planned to treat yourself for a special occasion…
In any case I won’t buy it right now because when in doubt, I prefer not to act impulsive. That’s also why I asked the wise opinion of this forum members

Hmm, I can see what @A bottle of Red means. I don't know why but the non-band Viper version also doesn't give me much...I do prefer the band version with your stack over the non-band Viper version.

Personally I think the Clash looks best when worn alone.

Do you have a budget?

This is the version I have and I find it easier to stack with other rings due to the shape. The diamonds also sort of help it break up in a way that is a little more lively and dimentional. But I know it's a huge price jump from non-diamonds. This was not the price I paid for in 2018. I think it was $2800 back then.

There is a white gold version as well.

Thank you very much for you message. I tried this one at the boutique but my budget is indeed rather about CHF 2000.- even if I can go a little bit over my budget for something I really really like. I was really impressed by the Serpenti yesterday when I tried it, but I think maybe I’ll try some other things to see if I still think about it then…

I am currently considering the ring to stack with my diamond ring. Do you have any modeling photo stacking with other rings? Does it attaches dirts etc within the gaps? Thanks

I feel this way all the time which is why I try to trust my initial gut instinct. I would keep looking if rhe first two choices do not turn out as well as hoped !Have fun finding new things

I bought a traditional wrap serpenti ring with diamond head and tail. I like it but don’t adore it the way I adore my serpenti tubogas bracelet. I wear it in lieu of a wedding band when I do wear it, usually in the summer.

Hmm, my Bvlgari serpenti fits on my middle finger. I don't have that many rings I can wear or stack on my middle finger. I have more pointer finger rings but I'll go home and check to see what I can do.

Yes, it does get dirty in the spaces in between diamonds and in the gaps on the sides. However, for me, it doesn't get dirty to the point where I see like, large pieces/chunks of dirt and grime obscuring the diamonds or completely filling up the gaps.
When I wear my rings, I do everything with them but I also wash my hands with them on so that gives them a bit of cleaning. I also have a sonicator jewelry cleaner and if I need to it will do the job.

Interestingly enough, when I do notice visible dirtiness, it's mainly at the points where one scale meets another.
(see screen shot below for reference).

You are totally right! My first post is from 9 months ago and since then I tried a lot of options and made my choice last September. I bought a plain Chopard Ice cube WG ring to stack with the Perlée and my eternity ring and I’m very happy with my purchase!

The tuboga bracelet is a wonderful piece, I can understand why you like it so much…

So here is my go to stack with the Bvlgari ring.
IMG_1689.jpeg
The Cartier narrow JUC.

Here it is stacked with a half eternity diamond band and an old Tiffany Atlas ring.

As you can see they don’t seem quite right because the Bvlgari ring has more thickness or height compared to the other two rings.

The Bvlgari ring may seem a little big and that is because it is. I wear rings constantly and so my fingers became more narrow as a result. So it is a little loose on me and needs to be stacked so it doesn’t fall off lol.
