Seraphin?

Yes, Seraphin makes leather jackets, coats etc. for Hermes, so construction is exactly the same. The only difference may be the skins used, but last year I saw a coat with the Seraphin label that was in the exact same skin and similiar design as a coat I saw at Hermes and the price was 50% less. Many things sold at Hermes are not made by Hermes, but priced higher than items sold under the manufacturer's label because of the Hermes label.

where can you buy them?

What usually works with these arrangements is that the designer will select the skins they want and then the manufacturer puts them together as per their pattern. On that basis it would be Hermes but judging by the prices they are I don't suppose they are going to be anything less than A-class leathers......but H will be A+!!

I agree. From what I have seen the skins on the H labelled garments will usually be a little nicer (not always though), but whether the price difference between the two is commensurate is for the buyer to decide (if they care).

I detest this sort of white-labelling by luxury brands. If you base your brand on craftsmanship as Hermes does, you should sell stuff you actually make. Only fools or those to rich to care pay a 50% premium for an identical product under a different name, and in this economic environment the latter will become rare.

Is that what it is called; I just call it being sneaky. I think it would be more honest to have a label to the effect of Seraphin for Hermes, but then Hermes has the more famous name and most people buy for label. I recall hats at Hermes used to have the Motsch label (which had its location at the now Hermes George V location), but I believe Hermes purchased Motsch and switched over.

I wonder why Frey Wille charges more for their jewellery (breathtaking) than for H line.
I bought a bracelet and pendant from FW recently and when compared to my H bracelet didn't find any difference
