I was walking by a sephora store today and they had a sign in the window offering services - skin care and makeup. looked like maybe a makeup lesson. seems to be they used to do this for free with the expectation you would likely buy products. now I think it's $30. maybe they also offer the free version.

I did a makeup application + lesson one a few years ago (2017?) and I think it was "free" if you spent $30 on product after. I haven't gone in-store in awhile now but shortly pre-covid they did have lessons they were offering for free free but they were seasonal/promotional; ie new product launch from certain brands.
