Hi everyone! I’m really disheartened to make this post right now and I’m unsure if anyone else has been in my shoes. 
I had a Chanel 4 key ring holder that I had purchased a while ago. I have been moving a lot lately and I found out that I had lost my “CHANEL” gold ring (I attached an image of it below for reference). I called the online Chanel customer service and they told me I can order the ring at any boutique. I texted my SA and she told me that I would need to bring it in for repair.
I found that odd because I wanted to just reorder a ring piece that came with the key holder. She told me I can ship it to her and her repair specialist will take care of me. I shipped the package using the return label Chanel/Nordstrom gave me, and the package was out for delivery/pending now since 1/4/24 and hasn’t moved.
I opened a case with FedEx, but no one is responding to me whether or not the package was insured (my SA insists it was but I’m not sure how much).
I feel so sad that I could potentially have lost my key holder.
