I received a bag with a scratch and a misaligned back pocket so I sent it back to the store. Now they’re saying I stained it and sending it back to me. I have no idea where the stain came from and I can’t even prove that I didn’t do it. Any idea how to get this stain out? Or what it is? It looks like some grubby fingers rubbed it but I barely touched it. I have a feeling I’m going to have to send it in for repairs. Anyone know if they’ll repair and realign the back pocket as well?

That is VERY strange that they would send you a defective bag. Even the leather on the chain looks like its defective too. Have you tried going in person to the store and speaking with a manager? How about calling the customer service number and speaking with them? If everything fails, you can try cleaning and conditioning the bag with some leather solutions.

I was also sent a defective bag recently. It came with a tear in the leather. I took photos of the damage and sent to the SA I bought with. I had no problem exchanging once they had the replacement.

That being said, I’d contact the SA you bought with directly or speak to the manager of that location.

It looks to me like it’s makeup (foundation) that was on someone’s fingers. I’ve had this happen to me before and I used one of those make up removal wipes and it kept right off. I’m not advising to do this, as with it being lambskin the dye could rub off a little, so if you did try doing this I would do it with caution and maybe test a tiny area.

Was this charged to a store card or your bank card or Amex? If it is a bank card tell them in writing your experience and stop payment.
