Senreve vs. HERMES Herbag (or other backpack convertible handbags)

I have always really wanted a Hermes Herbag that is convertible to a backpack. When buying bags, I like to look at convenience, practicality and multi-functional. Are the Senreve bags really great bag or is it just a phase and their marketing department is really good at what they do?

Are there other crossbody/handbag/backpack convertible bags that anyone recommends? Preloved is OK for me.

New brands always need at least 10 years to get good... still support young brands!

Thanks for the input. I think they look good and are practical but it really is marketing at it's best! I don't want it to just be a fad then I hate it later on.
