I may have just found the perfect bag for me...the Selma Satchel. It's available on MK's website on pre-order with an expected ship date of 2/12 (price - $358). Saffiano leather, detachable strap and lots of colors: yellow, luggage, black, navy, white, a kelly green, and what looks like a raspberry shade. I'm drooling over navy! Reminds me a bit of Coach's Candace, but love the more durable leather and shoulder strap.

Anyone ordered before from MK directly?

This is the next bag I'm going to get but I will wait until its in stores to try it on before I make the purchase! It looks absolutely classy! Plus always love mk bags are lined with pockets!!! Makes finding things so much easier :)

its like the coach candace, which IMO is a copy of the Celine luggage tote, lol.

but i am in love with this bag!! i cant wait till hopefully macys gets it so i can get it during their f+f sale! i would like to see it irl first though so i can get an idea of the dimensions. online numbers are deceiving!

Yes, it's a gorgeous bag but I actually like it more than the Candace; I like the saffiano and it's structure is better designed; it's a tiny bit smaller and just sets better on my arm. The moment I saw it I knew it was a go! There are many on line where you can save $50 at least.

thanks for letting me know! i also like the saffiano leather, i dont have any bags in this material but id love to get one. i actually have a bunch of macys gc to use up which is why im holding out for macys to get it, lol!

me too! i love the many pockets in the bags! i wish other designers would follow suit!

I just saw this bag in the MK store and I love this style. I am torn between the yellow and palm( green) color. If I didn't get a chance to see it in person, I would not have thought about getting either of these colors and would have gone for the navy(which is a deep, true navy). But the palm is a bright Kelly green that will add a pop of color to anything-blacks, browns, navy, pinks, etc. Although it is a brighter green because of the saffiano leather, it is a little more subtle than the yellow. The leather is incredible and it is just the right size. The manager also told me that they made fewer bags in the palm color so it might be more of a "collector" color than the others. I hope they will bring this in red or tangerine saffiano too.
