I was so lucky to purchase one of few Large raspberry Selmas this past week during Dillard's additional 40% sale. I was so excited for it to get here. Well, it came today all new beautifully packaged and I noticed this flaw on it almost immediately. Of course I took some pictures and called customer care and they told all that I could do was I could ship it back. I haven't been able to find any large raspberry Selmas anywhere with silverhardware. I really want it but I'm not sure I can live with it like this. Does anyone know if there are any raspberry large Selmas with silver hardware and where are they? I had searched and searched and have not found them...I did see them on zappos a while back but they are gone now. Oh, and this is officially my first Selma ever😭😭

I never heard about large raspberry Selma until reading this thread. So sorry to hear that. Keep the bag and give yourself a time to see if you can get over that flaw. I just got my small raspberry Sutton and the reason I got this bag because I'm afraid they'll not have raspberry with SHW available next year :(

Oh ugh sorry to hear about the flaw. macy's.com and carsons.com has the Medium on sale for a good price. Sorry I haven't seen any large in that color.

I know right!? Just my luck..lol.. I showed my husband and he totally made me feel better about and and didn't think it was that big of deal since its on the corner backside flap. I'm just really picky about my bags[emoji16] I know I saw the medium but I love large bags[emoji12]

Thank you so much! Love your advice[emoji5]️ I'm actually going to keep it for a while and see. My husband said it was no big deal. My OCD says otherwise but it was one I had been watching and waiting to get discounted and I was so happy to finally have my hands on it. I'll most likely keep it because it's pretty rare. I can't find it anywhere.

How disappointing to find a mark! Did you try cleaning it with a little water and/or a magic eraser? I once recieved a purse and believed it arrived scratched only to find the light colored mark cleaned off.

There are some on eBay but your likely to not get as good as a deal. If I got a good deal on it I would be tempted to keep it, chances are it could get additional marks with usage over time. Will it wipe off? Or is it a problem with the dying process xx

Oh that's a shame. I was in a similar situation with a small mandarin sutton that I got on sale. It had a huge scratch across the closing flap but if I returned it I would have just got a credit note and it was in a store that I went to on holiday. I posted on here and everyone helped me feel better about it not being too bad. I kept it, still love it and I am so glad I kept it. I still notice the scratch from time (I'm a perfectionist!) but it doesn't bother me now. I think the same will happen for you. I say keep it and after a while it won't bother you (you may still notice it though!), it doesn't detract from the beauty of your hard to find bag. It almost looks like some surface glue that might come of?

I also think it looks like surface glue. I had a hard time spotting it to be honest, until I really zoomed the picture in. Love Raspberry!

Thank you so much ladies!!! I'm going to try to clean it later tonight and see if it won't come out of it, when you look at it up close it almost looks like the saffiano is scraped but who knows maybe it is the dying process. I will try your tips with cleaning it and see what happens. I sure hope it's glue but we will see. Thanks for the tips I appreciate them so much[emoji6]
