Selling to resellers

I try to research this subject but did not find much.
I need your help/ advice cause I want to sell a bag via a reseller. It is not a big consignment store but people who will basically post your item for sale .
The thing is I have no guarantee doing this because if it is sold, I need to send her the bag for her to check and authenticate and foward it to the client..
What if I send my bag and never get my money back?
Paypall will not help me in this case...
I made some research she seems legit but all the review are about buying..

So what do you do in this case to secure the transaction?

I wouldn't do it. It is better to just sell it directly to a buyer for less.

For me I wouldnt send my bag to a reseller on a consignment basis. I wouldn't know how the reseller handled the bag, and if it doesn't get sold and you get it back, it may not be in the same condition as when you handed it over.

She said I will send it only after the bag is sold. Which means I should not receive it back. Also I will receive a contract with all her details and the money we agreed... donno what to do.

I tried to sell it myself but in my country the second hand market is not important.
Really want to sell this mini to get something else in the prefall collection...

Well if you don't have any other options than to consign, then consign it. You are taking a risk and nobody can give any advice other than that. Consigners are all different. Some are honest, some aren't and you don't have much to go on in terms of reviews. The only thing you can do is to find out more about the reputation of the person you are looking to consign your bag with. Otherwise you are taking a gamble.

Just send it to a well known consigner if they are legit they wont ruin their reputation to try to scam you and just be sure to ask as much questions as possible.
