Selling to Redeluxe

Has anyone sold to Redeluxe? They sent me an offer and I accepted, sent more photos and now I’m getting no response. I’m emailed and messaged. It’s weird.
They now told me they misquoted me by 2000 in their favor. Okay….I was still willing to accept. They told me would send me paperwork immediately. That was hours ago - no paperwork. Hopefully somebody else can chime in because this appears sketchy.

You guys have to be patient, the quote mail takes time, i did sell to them before, and everything was great.
there are 2 important things

1) the bag you wanna sell, must be the bag they are highly interested in buying.
since they are not consignment shop, they buy your bag right away .

sometimes if its the bag they dont want, they might not reply to you

once, they think its the bag they can buy from you, they send you the quote.

2) if you agree on the price and they send you the fedex label. once you send the bag to them and
they receive, they check and within 1-2days they pay to you.

it is 100% safe.

I am also very curious about other recent experiences selling to Redeluxe! I can share my experience so far. I submitted 4 items for a quote to their new website. It says that you should get a quote back within 3 business days. I got a quote for one of the Chanel bags within that time, the quote was laughable, I got way more from Fashionphile. And I haven't heard back regarding the other 3 Chanel bags, and it's been about 6 business days. I tried to reach out to them on Instagram and through their website and crickets. I am not impressed with their customer service. Especially since I see them active on Instagram and they are posting videos. You would think in this tougher economy that they would up their customer service, though currently, I am a seller I could have been a future buyer, now I am not sure that will be happening, I don't want to give my business to them if this is the treatment I will get. Interested to hear if anyone else had the same or different experience!

Tougher economy means they aren’t selling as many bags. Now is not the time to sell except on your own
 
Update (just heard back from redeluxe)
Georgia was really quick to respond today and she gave additional compensation for the extra wait. She apologized and explained the special circumstances that cause the payment to slip through the cracks. Overall I’m pleased with how she fixed things.

I’ve sold to Redeluxe several times and personally would not again after recent experiences with them.

I had a positive experience last year but this past month has not been good. They give reasonable offers and *used to* pay promptly (within 2 days they advertise online) after receiving the item. But the past 2 times last month, they have listed my item for sale long before they actually pay me.

Early June (sold chanel mini): payment came through a week after they listed my item for sale.

Late June (sold mini evelyne): still haven’t received payment after 2 weeks, my item has been listed for sale for over a week.

I have several grievances with this:
1. I emailed them on updates for my payment and they don’t respond.
2. Listing the item for sale before the seller is paid means consignment, not buyout as they advertise.
3. The anxiety of giving something thousands of dollars to them for them to not give me updates on payment, ignore my emails and making me wait indefinitely for the payment is truly horrible. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, especially in today’s economy.

Maybe it’s just the payment department of Redeluxe that is having some issues, maybe I just was unlucky both times, but I want to share my experience here (shared on fb too) for others who are considering selling to them.
