I am wondering what experiences others may have had with regard to selling jewelry pieces in particular on Vestiaire Collective and tax reporting obligations? I have sold a few items this year on VC - about 10ish - and several of them were designer jewelry pieces. VC just puts this vague statement on their site that sales may lead to tax obligations in France. I ask the question because (through my internet digging) it sounds like certain jewelry sales may be one item that actually does need to be reported for French income tax purposes. I do not know French and I do not know the first thing about French tax reporting (I am based in the US). Is there anyone out there who has run into or considered this issue? TIA!
