Hello all! Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask as I am not usually in the jewelry section of TPF. I have a pair of Mikimoto pearl and diamond stud earrings that I was looking to sell but found that all of the usual online consignment shops I've used in the past don't consign Mikimoto jewelry (only Tiffany's, David Yurman, etc.). While searching, I came across a website called "Luxury Buyers" (luxurybuyers.com) that seemed legitimate but does not have all that many reviews online.

I was wondering if anyone has sold anything to them/has had any previous good experiences with them. Alternatively, if anyone knows of any other online places that accept Mikimoto jewelry for purchase/consignment that they have had good experiences with, I would love to know.

Thanks in advance for any info!

I haven't had any dealings with Luxurybuyers.com. The only advice I could give you is perhaps taking them to a jeweler who deals in Estate Jewelry. They may be willing to take your earrings in on consignment. I would get them appraised first.

They are on the smaller end of both pearl size and diamond size (original price was $780). Do you think I still need to get them appraised knowing the original cost and having bought them fairly recently?
