I’m debating on selling my Chanel Maxi bowling bag and get a LV speedy or a Chanel backpack. Yea- so different. I never use the bowling bag and they offered me almost 4k which is a big hit. I usually buy bag to get another one. Thoughts. Here’s the max bag.

I’d sell it! I hate heavy bags and will never use them no matter how nice they are to look at. If you’re not in a rush, sell it later when hopefully you can get a better price. A speedy is similar shape to that and depending on the size and how much you put it, it might feel the same as that Chanel bag. Backpacks are better for carrying more weight, but I am not a backpack person. It really depends on what you plan on putting in the bags.

On one hand, as right now to the next few years as I can see, Chanel bags would be the ones likely keep the value, on the other hand, style of this bag, is not my favorite, it doesn't look practical, and it is not "pretty" or "girly", it reminds me vintage style similar bags I have seen (I had bought and sold similar style but were in mini size).

It is a difficult decision. Regarding LV backpacks, I actually use one of my LV backpacks a lot, and I have lots of Speedys (& Speedy bs) too, haha.
