Sell my LV Capucines and buy a Chanel ? Please help decide

Hello Everyone,
Just want to get your thoughts, I bought this handbag last year but hardly use it. I've only carried it once
I reach for my Chanel flaps instead . The price in the reseller market is horrible, less than 50% in most cases
So, should I just take the loss , sell and buy a handbag that I would use ? What would you do ?

i'd call it a complete loss of your money if you bought something that you don't use. at least you'd be able to get 50% back by selling it and getting a Chanel instead

This is a beautiful bag however, if you aren't going to use it, it's just dead money sitting in your wardrobe. Sell it, take the hit, buy something you will love and use (this is the voice of experience here!).

That is a stunning bag! As an LV fan, I also know that it was an expensive one! An unused bag is a waste of space, though. Sell it and get what you like!

What a dilemma. 50% is quite a lot, but not using the bag is hard too. I had an LV bag previously. Loved it to bits, but its not comfortable to wear at all. I tried to make it work, and it end up unused. Sold at a loss, some even quoted just 10% from the retail price. I would shop around for the best quote, and sell at the price you are willing to let go. All the best

Gosh, this bag is a stunner!!! Perhaps try wearing her a couple more times to see if you fall in love.

But, if not, I'm a firm believer in selling any any bag I don't use. The bag will take up space in your closet and your mind. If you sell it and get something you love, I think you'll be happier.

I want that LV bag so bad!!!! I can see how it's not everyone's taste tho. I think if you have this question now you should try to sell it and find something you will not question!

I'm in a similar position to you with 2 Louis Vuitton bags. I say sell it on best offer and get something you love. It's a bitter pill to swallow but it makes us better at buying bags in the future!

Gorgeous bag but yes, sell it. I also did this recently with the LV Retiro and Vintage Jumbo XL Chanel. If you don't reach for them you're better off getting use out of something you'll use and love. When you buy you're Chanel at least it will have a better resale value. Good luck!

I think the Capucines is nicer than a Jumbo. Jumbos are so heavy and the chains are so long. Woc's are overrated imo. They are a wallet (on a chain). They dont hold much and the snap closure is awful. How about a m/l flap since you don't carry much?

WOW a 50% loss! Its amazing how the Neverfull Bags hold their value and that stunner you loose 50%! I guess thats how it goes. I would take the loss if you are not using it. Get what you love and will use.

I have sold many bags at a loss sadly and LV besides the classic LV don't hold value as well., I would sell to get something else you will use.

I agree! If you don't use it, sell it. I just went through the same dilemma and so happy I got my Chanel when I sold my hardly used LV.
