Hello everyone. I am new to Purse Forum so would love to read feedback to all you purse lovers like me!

I purchased my Gucci Dionysus a few months ago, and as much as I love the aesthetics of this purse and how much it can fit and carry, it makes me double think if I should keep it. The purse can be a little heavy when I have my daily stuff I carry ( compact wallet, small make up kit, coin purse and my key clay). But the biggest con for me on this purse is the strap and how it cannot be carried cross body.

The SpeedyB25 in DE have the options to carry top handle, shoulder and cross body, and so carefree. I’m in a dilemma if I should just sell my Dionysus and get the speedy. What do you guys think? Can you help me figure this one out with your thoughts?

The Gucci Dionysus looks more dressy, expensive and current. However I understand that it can be do annoying to have a bag that doesn’t meet your needs, is too uncomfortable or heavy.

Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 is a great size and very practical for day. If you remove the strap and it can be dressy for night.

I have a pink leather Dionysus and a speedy b 25. Speedy b is one of the best everyday bags. Easy to wear with adjustable strap. Dionysus is a very special piece. A work of art I would say. You will likely get more use out of a speedy b. And it’s carefree as it’s canvas plus no vachetta. However, in my experience you should not sell a bag when you are unsure. I’ve sold a lot in my younger days and have a lot of regrets. If it’s a matter of finances, I’d wait until you have the $ for purchase and keep both. If you truly don’t want the Dionysus, you’ll know for sure and won’t second guess. You’ll also lose $ on it. Good luck.

Thank you everyone for your input. Your comments makes total sense. I agree that the Dionysus is a work of art. I look at it, and it is just gorgeous. Out of curiousity, I sent a quote request to Fashionphile for the Dionysus and was surprised on how low their offer was. I went home yesterday, took it out from it’s dustbag and admired it all over again. No scratches, dirt, and just have a few glitter inside the purse when we had my baby’s party. Otherwise, it is in such excellent condition. Reading all your comments this morning cemented in my head to keep the bag and use it more to appreciate its beauty.

The speedyB 25 is mostly available, so just like what Snibor and Grand Latte said, I will wait and save up to get this purse. Seller’s regret is something I would like to avoid.

Yes I am keeping it. Thank you all for your time. I am loving this website because I can get honest opinions about luxury items from others. I live in a town where luxury purses are not commonly seen on people, and friends don’t seem to have the same passion and love to own these beauties.
