Hi guys! I have been thinking of letting go of my Eva in DE and get a brand new YSL Toy Loulou in silver hardware. I think the Toy Loulou can fit more than the Eva but still small enough and I can get a chain strap for a dressier style.

Thoughts? anyone who has experience or opinions on both purses?

I’m thinking the same thing. To buy the YSL toy loulou black hardware or silver hardware in black leather. It looks gorgeous, fits a tonne and such buttery leather. Is a gorgeous bag and nice that it’s crossbody and can be worn as a wristlet too. And definitely can buy a chain strap to use too. I’m not selling anything to fund it, but I would agree to sell your Eva. The Eva is small and been around for ages. Time for a change. Definitely agree!

thank you! the Toy Loulou is such a cute bag and it kinda looks like a chanel square :-D

I gave my eva away to my sis years ago, and I kind of regret it. It was too small for me to use as a bag, but it still would have been a good size as a slg in one of my bigger bags. I use pouches to organize my things, so I'm always looking for pouch-sized things. Seeing the prices of LV slgs, I definitely won't be as quick to let go of my Favorite now. If you can't come up with a way to keep using eva though, let it go.

That aside, I think the YSL toy loulou is a really cute bag, so I say get it.

One think to note when deciding ... the new Toy LouLous do not have an adjustable strap. So, you'd want to go to Fashionphile or the like and look for a pre-loved option depending upon your height and desired strap length. See most recent Nordstrom reviews for the Toy for more information.

I have the old version (with the adjustable strap). At the lowest setting, it's the same length as the croisette, if it helps. I don't know if the new one is shorter ...
