Sell em or Save em... A question about shoes

I have a pair of black Coach Issy shoes that have only been worn a few times that I bought two years ago. I am planning on selling them some time soon but was wondering if I should have them sent out for repair before I list them or not. The back of the shoe where the rubber sole meets the wedge heel has separated a little. It is not noticeable unless you are looking right at it. Coach said that they would send them out to get repaired and the shipping would be $20. Is it worth sending them out for repair before I sell them?

I would check with a local shoe repair. My guess is it would cost less than $20 to have them repaired.

Those shoes are adorable!!! I love Coach wedges. If you think you'll wear them once they're repaired, I would definitely keep them.

That is my problem too! That is why I have only worn them a few times in the last two years. But after the heel started coming apart I didn't feel right to wear them and I thought it was too late to return them. Now two years later, I don't think I have worn them in the last year.

HI,
I would get them repaired before you sell them! You can justify a higher selling price! The buyer then wouldn't have to hassle with getting them fixed!!

Some SAs will waive the $20 fee, so it's worth a shot. Or you could take them to your local shoe repair shop and see if they can do anything about it

I would try a local shop first...maybe they can do it for under 20. If not, I guess it would be worth a shot to send it to coach

if you just want to get them off your hands, you could just list it as damaged and let the people who get it take care of it...but for considerably less money

I love those shoes !!!! I would even wear them if they made my feet bleed... LOL. That is the type of shoe I usually wear so I'd say repair and keep. They are AWESOME !!!

I would get them repair by someone local and sell them you can get a good price for them.

When I went to go pick up my new Alex tote, I happened to have my shoes in the car. So I brought them in and asked my wonderful SA Matthew what he thought I should do about them. And they offered me a store credit! Bummer it was for a discounted price of the shoe, but still more then I think I could have sold them for on the bay. So now I have a $139 store credit, just in time for my visit to the outlet next weekend!

Great!!! Less hassle than having them fixed and selling them!!!! A credit is always good!!!! I had a purse I had gotten several years ago as a gift! I had never used it and the tags were still on it!!! I was at my outlet and they gave me a merchandise credit for the sale price!! I was happy!!! More Coach for me to buy!!!
