Sell Chanel PST to buy the MPA?

Yes, I am crazy. But I am asking you all because I know how awesome and understanding you guys are. My hubby just bought the speedy B 35 for me. Immediately after buying the speedy B, I fell in love with the MPA. Now, I have not even seen this bag in person or tried it. Just saw pics and videos. I feel it's not fair to ask my hubby to buy another close to $2000 bag for me.

Now, I bought my Chanel PST(my only chanel bag) a long time ago but used it around less than 5 times. I got an offer from a consignment store for it. It's not much but I need to add $800ish in order to get the MPA. I have not accepted the offer yet. What do you guys think? Should I sell it?

Also, are there any CONS to the MPA? I saw one of ebay that said that the two pochettes rubbed together and due to the friction the canvas has marks. Did you guys experience that?

No contest for me. The multi pochette accessories is a ridiculous fad that I am hoping will go away soon. A Chanel tote is forever classic.

You are right, but the thing is, I have not worn it for the last 8 years. I reach out for LV bags only for some reason.

I still would keep it because Chanel is forever classic. Once you sold this, not sure if you are able to purchase another one for the price you sell. On the meantime, save and buy the MPA later if you still want it.

Keep the Chanel. Classic, and your hubby bought it for you (I am sentimental!).

You can get the MPA later - seems it won't be too hard to get even if you get it secondhand. I know the MPA overall is trendy, but you can wear it so many non-trendy ways when the trend is over.

Wow for 8yrs. I say sell it and get what you love. Im sure your husband will understand and will be happy whatever you choose to do. My husband usually tell me if im happy then its fine. I think MPA looks tacky when worn all together but i think looks good when worn each. Have you seen the deauville mini? that one looks cute.

I don't like the MPA at all, and I do like the Chanel, so for sure I'd keep the Chanel. However you said you carried it less than 5 times? And you've had it 8 years? Yes, definitely sell the Chanel. What are you thinking???!!!! lol But I would still not buy the MPA. Hard pass. I can't vote b/c you don't have my choice.

I would keep the Chanel, but if you don't think you'll ever want to use it then maybe sell and buy another Chanel or a different LV? I don't think the MPA is worth all the $$$ people are paying for. Also what is your style, is the MPA something you can see yourself wearing out to dinner, socialising etc?
