Seeking Opinions on Metallic Rogue!

I usually don’t ask for anyone’s take on a handbag, and I try to live with my choices, but I’m on the fence about this one. Just received this today from the outlet sale. I’ve been interested in getting a Rogue and I figured it was being discontinued. I do love dark metals and the interior is a nice wine color. But I wonder if these indentations will ease out over time.

I haven’t seen anyone post this particular bag. The heather gray rogue 25 was also on sale but I already have the dinky in that combo. Would you keep this? I don’t really like returning things, but I’ll stuff it and see what happens.

Are you referring to the sale that is currently on coach outlet right now? I haven’t seen the Rogue 25 heather gray there... beautiful rogue you got, maybe try stuffing it for a few days snd see if it works

Last week I caught the end of the outlet sale, with older retail items included, that had an extra 25, so it was a good deal. Right under $300. Yeah, I’ll take a look at it in a few days after it sits for a while.

I would request an exchange. To me, wrinkled metallic leather is a lot harder to fix than regular pebbled. I also think the wrinkles look more noticeable on metallics.

There's a good chance that with a bit of use this will become unnoticeable, particularly since the Rogues tend to slouch open (due to the weight of the handles) and reveal their interior contrasting suede.
I would exchange it if the metallic coating is scratched or rubbed off on any parts of it, but I think I could live with the wrinkles (it actually reminds me of a Karl Lagerfeld bag I saw that was crinkled blue metallic leather, and the wrinkling effect was part of the design).

Thanks for your input! This is a stiffer leather so the wrinkles don’t seem like they’ll be smoothed out easily. I’ll want to decide soon so I can send it back to JAX.

Oh, in that case, I would say that you should exchange. That's a lot of money to put into a bag that isn't up to par. Buy something that will make you jump for joy!

I ordered this bag as well from the last factory sale. I returned it. It too had lumps & creasing. The metallic nature of the leather on this bag, IMO, makes it stiff. Go with your gut...if it bothers you, return it.

Hello! I raced to the post office this afternoon to ship it back! I’ve had plenty of metallic leather by Coach but this was just so hard. Oh well, at least I know to go with the larger Rogue if I ever see another one I like.
