Looking for a little assistance and advice. I’ve been offered an opportunity to purchase some second hand diamond earrings.

Colour F
Cut SI1
Size 1.14 (total) which I know is teeny to some you more experienced jewellery hands…
White gold setting.

I’ve been offered these at £2000 – girls what do you think, good deal or not?

I'm no expert so hopefully some others will chime in, but it seems a bit expensive. Here in the US you can get new 1 tcwt earrings, white gold, ideal cut, color I, clarity SI1 for USD $2,345 from Whiteflash and other online retailers have similar pricing.

I think it depends on the cut and how they look. You'd have to see if you liked them b/c rose cuts are not just a standard round that you can judge by numbers... if you like old cuts and the rose cut in particular, Jewels by Erica Grace has a 3 cttw pair for $3500 that are over 150 years old and with your exchange rate being favorable, not that far off in pricing.

About half way down the page you'll see them.

i've been eyeing these earrings for awhile now, they just look so lovely and at a good price now! if anyone gets them please post pics! :)

Way too high for second hand IMHO. I have 1.3 cttw studs, SI F, ideal that I paid about $2,200 for last summer.

Whoever is selling these should expect to get about 50% of the original purchase price.
