So.....typically I buy second hand LVs.....just because it gives me a little piece of mind that I won't know when I cause the mark on them, since they have already been used, and because I like a lot of the older styles.
My question is a few of the bags I want are discontinued...but I'm noticing when looking at them come up on the secondary market they all have the same issues, like cracking in the canvas (the Bloomsbury) or glazing coming off (newer Neo Noe). Will LV still correct those issues if you buy the bag second hand? I'm assuming they check your purchase history in store, and that if they didn't see the bag in your account, then there might be difficulty getting issues corrected.

I buy second hand LVs and brought to the store to have vachetta replaced recently. They have no issues. They didn't ask for paperwork or check my history. They did look to make sure no cracks on the monogram canvas and authentic though. The SA that helped me check the bag for good 2-3 mins. However, I recently saw a video on Youtube where this lady emailed in for repair and they did replaced her Speedy all vachetta with cracks monogram canvas. So, I guess it a hit or a miss, depends on where you go, but I don't see anything wrong with purchase second hand LVs.

It depends first of all on the SA. My SA was when I’ve brought a 1 year old preloved zoe wallet in, first she said oh you didn’t buy it here. then I was like could you at least check out what it would cost?
Then she went asking and came back and said it will cost nothing and that the Quality Check said it’s fine to let it repair because she confirmed it is original and only a year old.
However if the item is older you will pay for it, and you can let it repair, cracking canvas can’t be repaired. Only exchanged, which might be a very expensive one if the item is oder then 2-3 years.
They also might at first say no but you need to be a bit stubborn!
hope this helps.

They will replace leather on and repair any authentic bag provided they’ve got the parts available and provided it actually can be repaired, regardless of whether you’re the original owner. They won’t repair cracked canvas in any case though. I’m not sure if the bags you’re looking at have been recalled or if it’s a recognised issue. I would look into that before buying, just in case.

talk about Bloomsbury, I bought one second hand recently, it's like brand new no crack at all, majority of bags I bought second hand had no issues, a few of them did
