Hi,

I am celebrating a major milestone and had *thought* (and tried on in store/s and read this archive!) it would be a WG diamond JUC regular size, but now I am undecided and would appreciate your help!

I already have had a WG regular diamond which I wear daily for 3+ years and I love it. It suits my lifestyle and personal aesthetic. I don’t wear much jewelry, I have young kids, and work in a creative field where my LB has held up well.

The diamond JUC appealed to me for infrequent special occasions, not daily wear, but my concerns are about 1) not using it much, 2) possibly being trendy and feeling dated eventually and 3) denting my LB (or snagging threads, wear and tear I am not familiar with having the one WG regular love only.

So I have been thinking more seriously about the WG 4 diamond Love bracelet instead. I also don’t think I would wear this regularly, I am not trying to build a stack but they look lovely together. I have wondered if I would wear the second LB more (to me it’s more low key), but would not be that statement piece that the diamond JUC looks like. Would it also be too similar since both are WG and same collection?

Please help! Experience and advice welcome. I’m not normally indecisive but this is a big milestone and purchase. Thanks!

I dont really care for love bracelet but i am so in love with JUC!

i love regular JUC more than a diamond JUC too. It is edgy, cool, touch of design and looks great stacked or by itself.

love is a little to plain to my taste. But many people stack them!

if you are going for love, pick a different metal to mix and play with it rather than getting another white gold. Make it fun and give urself choices in case u need to pair it with yellow gold

I just recently added white gold juc and yellow juc and think it is the best decision ever. They look great mixed but also i can wear them seperately if i want to keep the metals i wear in same color tone.

let us know what u decide on!!

What stands out to me about both these options is you said you wouldn’t wear them frequently. Of course this comes down to preference, but in my opinion a purchase to mark a milestone event should be something you could enjoy wearing often. It’s less fun to make a big purchase for it to mainly sit in box.
That said, I think both options could be worn regularly with young kids, but that also depends on you.

Of the options you mentioned, I’d choose the JUC with diamonds. For what it’s worth, I have young kids too and wear mine regularly. Mine is yellow gold, but the white gold one is gorgeous and would compliment your love beautifully!

Good luck with what you decide and congratulations with this milestone event you’re celebrating!

Comfort wise, I think adding a second Love would be much more comfortable and you don’t have to worry about denting. I love my JuC but it is not as comfy as the nail head digs in occasionally and I have to readjust. And although you mentioned you would probably not be stacking them, the option to do so is nice and you like the look already so my vote is for the love.

Ooh! How fun that you make such cool combinations. Thanks for chiming in, appreciate your endorsement of the JUC.

Thanks so much. You “hit the nail on the head” with part of my dilemna of considering keeping a beautiful JUC in a box, but I can’t see myself wearing it daily. Is your YG JUC with or without diamonds? Maybe it’s the bling factor of this JUC that is holding me back just personally.

Thanks so much, this is both practical and sensible advice. I do think I’d wear a second LB more than this potential JUC and I could get the LB engraved and be able to see it! Too bad both aren’t in the cards for me atm.

My JUC is the classic size with diamonds. I hesitated to get it at first feeling like it was too blingy but I love it and it sees tons of wear. I just posted this pic yesterday in the action shots thread of my JUC at the playground.

Back to the drawing board, the size of the regular JUC that fits best on me does not exist and can’t be special ordered, so I’ve been told.. (14 cm).

so, to wait for one to be magically go into production, my store manager told me she thought this wouldn’t be likely, or re-think…

Have read several posts on TPF about screws coming loose once a second LB is added (so, a stack) with the new locking mechanism.

Don't forget to post pictures!

I promise I will post photos, but realized I never responded and thanked all who contributed. I ended up making a few selections entirely unplanned for but I had a great SA with a discerning eye who sized up my current style and future plans for SA. I ended up making choses to complete my WG Cartier love collection (I think?!) and will move on to Gold, afraid I am not brave in terms of mixing medals.

After eliminating the JUC (I am truly a size 14 bc size 15 love and wanted the WG, although I tried on multiple variations in YG, all lovely but not for me - yet).

I purchased:
- small WG love semi - paved (not the plan! But it suited me and I was able to engrave it to commemorate the special occasion) - no experience with the small love prior but am happy
- Love Ring WG - 1 diamond
- Tank Francaise small SS (that was the truly unplanned for game changer but it fills a hole replacing an older watch and I love the minimal, clean, sporty style if you will)… my mother has a mixed metal (gold and ss) Tank Francaise which I love and could see for a future purchase!

(Almost ended up with a Clash ring and a JUC ring but comfort between fingers was issue for the clash, like the style of both)

Down the road I am eyeing gold to replicate my love collection or perhaps a combination with JUC and clash but if the WG JUC is never produced in size 14 in small or regular, no matter the style I ended up liking the small YG JUC when balanced with a larger piece esp, would need to learn more about bending if this wouldn’t be a daily piece

I wear all my pieces often, just need to snap a photo or two! Thanks all for the advice :heart:
