DH and I decided to paint some of our old seashells silver. We're going to leave a few white ones as they are and mix them in with the painted shells. I've been having trouble finding a good silver metallic and a good clear coat for the white shells. I've found a few good tutorials online, but was wondering if anyone had experience with Krylon spray paints?

For the silver shells, we've tried the Krylon silver metallic and Krylon chrome aluminum. I'm thinking of ordering the Krylon original chrome to compare all three.

For the white shells... they just need to be sealed. I can't decide whether to buy Krylon Make It Last vs. Krylon Crystal Clear vs. Krylon Triple Thick Clear Glaze. We don't want anything too shiny or too dull.

Please post a few pictures of how the shells came out. I would also like to know about how the clear glaze seals the shells. I have had a hard time finding glaze that does not eventually have a yellow tint months after a project is done.
