Search tips?

Does anyone have some good tips for searching on ebay?

For example, if I'm searching for a Michael Kors Desert satchel, what would you suggest that I type in the search box, knowing that the seller might not know the style of the bag?

I like to leave search terms 'general' - in this case, search for "Michael Kors" but then narrow it down using the item specifics menu, such as color or material. I also include "not specified" in these categories because many sellers leave this part blank (or partially filled in), to catch anything that's poorly described. It does mean scrolling through a lot more listings to actually find what I'm looking for, but it seems to be a pretty good way to snag a good deal here and there. You can also try variations of misspellings of the designer and/or product line (i.e. Micheal Kors or Dessert).

I also like to leave search terms general. It helps me find more results that way which otherwise wouldn't have been included if I make it too specific.
