scuff on patent, did a quick search with no avail.

i have an extremely small white scuff on my plum patent abigail. it's not really noticeble, but i know its there and it's all i can see now when i look at the bag! especially since it's on the front.

it's a surface color transfer (looks like from the screen door on the front of my house) and not a scratch or anything.

I woud try a fragrance-free baby wipe first, and if that doesn't work, I'd try wetting a cottonr ball/Qtip with NON-ACETONE nail polish and gently dabbing at it to see if that gets it out. If you try the nail polish, make sure you wipe that area afterwards with a damp paper towel or something so no nail polish residue is remaining.

I found a plum patent wallet at the outlet that was reduced in price very nicely because it had a lot of marks on it. I decided to take a chance on it since it was so cheap, and brought it home and cleaned it with the Coach conditioner, and all the marks came off, and it's perfect now. Some of the marks were the spattered glue or black grease we see sometimes on bags, not sure about the others.
