Scratches or natural abrasions in leather?

Hi Ladies,

I just received my new black jumbo this week (I haven't worn it yet) and noticed that some of the leather on the inside flap was a bit uneven? I believe it's just the natural abrasion of leather, however I wanted your opinions! Do these look like scratches? They're hard to see unless you tilt the bag directly in the light.

Please let me know your thoughts!

They look like finger nail marks to me. That's what the inside of my flap looked when I had scratched it.

Thanks for your input! Hmm, if that is the case it makes me wonder if this bag was a return. I spoke with my SA and he said it was brand new from Chanel.
