Scratches on love stud earrings

Hi everyone,
I recently ordered the love stud earrings from the e-boutique and I noticed that one of the earring has some hairline scratches on the top surface. Both earrings had some watermarks on the bottom and top surface that I to polished and was able to clean little bit. These are the individual studs not the one that comes in a pair. Should I request an exchange for the scratched one or is it not a big deal since they will get scratched eventually. This is my 2nd experience getting an item from the e-boutiqe that's scratched and at this point, i'm pretty annoyed with Cartier.

I would request an exchange. For the price that they charge the merchandise should come in perfect condition. It would bother me because I should put the first scratch on it and not someone else. It all depends if you can live with it or not.

i would exchange. Earrings don’t get scratched as much as bracelets or rings so for me I’m more picky about keeping them nice.

I have had two experiences with things arriving from the e boutique scratched, both had come loose in the box during shipping, first in 2011 a love cuff had a deep scratch all the way across at the top and then in 2020 one of a pair of JUC hoops had come loose and one had a scratch on the nailhead.

They exchanged them quickly both times, the second pair of JUC earrings one had come loose again but luckily no visible scratches.

I will be exchanging the earring. Also I wanna mention that the jewelry boxes they sent are really bad quality. One of them broke and the other one doesn't open good. Cartier's quality is going down hill.
