Scotch Guard?

Hello all!

I just purchased a beautiful, winter white coat and wanted to know whether anyone in the forums has experience with scotch guarding wool coats? I am so paranoid that I will get it really dirty soon, and called the retailer about it. They recommended that I check in with my dry cleaner whether scotch guarding would hinder cleaning the coat, and if I would have to reapply after every cleaning. Has anyone tried scotch guarding clothing? Are there any other alternatives to protect the coat? Thanks!

I don't know how well it will work but dry cleaning WILL remove scotch guarding. THAT I know.

I'd ask a reputable dry cleaner. They should be able to help you.
