^Thanks, yeah I still think about him everyday (he passed away like 5 years ago)...they are such great dogs! Love hearing about others owning them.

Be still my heart. They are gorgeous.I love this breed and have wanted one for a long time. I didn't know they came in white, I thought they were either S&P or black? I think I need a Schnauzer.
yes, the come in S&P, Black, Black with white on the chest, all white, and Parti which is amazing. White and Parti colors can not be shown. I grew up with one pair of mini schnauzers that we would occasionally breed for friends that wanted pups. They were amazing and so I figured I would get a new one for my son. I found him on Craigslist when he was about 7 months old. The lady that had him was allergic to him which is odd because they are usually hypoallergenic dogs. He will be 1 on March 23. He is trouble though, but can be so sweet when he wants to be.
This is him around Christmas playing tug o war with my son. When I first got hm he had a lot of Mats so I shaved him,, he is finally ready for a haircut tomorrow

My friends had the all black which I absolutely love too!!! And my Brody is pretty much almost completely silver which is one way of being salt & pepper....and then his son Fergus is still considered salt & pepper but looks very different!!!
Brody is very very good with kids....but not with very little ones. He gets nervous around my 18 mo. old nephew.....probably because of all the sudden movements!
The kids next door (5 and 8) LOVE Brody and will often knock on our door and ask if Brody can come out and play LOL

They are definetly smart dogs....ours was house broken very quickly (unlike the Bichons I grew up with who took forever)...and he just listens so well.
As a psychologist I know it is all conditioning...but to heck with it...my dog is super smart LOL

One of my first dogs was a mini schnauzer (salt/pepper). He died a few years back. My mom bought another shortly there after, and this one is silver. they are great dogs. If I didn't initially need to have a small apt dog I would have gotten another schnauzer, but I bought a Yorkie who I love to death! LOL
I have a Schnauzer, Casino. He's very smart and loves kids (and everyone else!). Also, he doesn't bark nearly as much as my parents' Schnauzers. Then again, I didn't really play rough with him when he was a puppy. We snuggled. He's definitely the boss in our house over our Golden. He's 8. And I can't get a picture to attach!
