Am I the only one who pronounced the designer's name in the American English way? My SA mentioned "Schlumber-zhay," and it suddenly dawned on me that I've been wrong all this time. I'm ecstatic that I never actually uttered his name before and have been wrong only when mentally referring to him!

I pronounced it /shlumburger/ and years ago I was in the SF Union Square location and the SA used the right pronunciation and graciously didn’t point out my mistake.

Similar situation, was at a Tiffany's event at my local store and one of the models was walking around showing the jewelry and when I commented on one of the pieces I stumbled through the pronunciation and she said it the correct way and I thanked her for helping me! It still "see" the "r" at the end (in my mind), but at least I know the correct pronunciation now.
I always used a French pronunciation (I figured his name was Jean Michel Schlumberger after all!) and then I went to the boutique to hunt down my egg pendant and the SA used the English pronunciation (Schlum- burger) so I figured I had been wrong all that time
