I have started to wear scarves more in the office and love matching colors and textures to my outfit (especially as my scarf collection grows!!) but I notice other employees that don't regularly use scarves wearing some great outfits that would be so well complemented by a scarf. Are scarves in offices or corporate environments not the thing these days?

Don't worry, I too prefer wearing matching scarf at office to complement my dress and my boss is very much impressed with it. Sometimes she even give me tips on ways to wear scarf in office. I don't wear scarf every day but it depends on my mood. I live in texas, and strangely here people do like experimenting on new look. I purchase scarves mainly from https://www.shoplc.com/fashion-accessories/c/scarves. You can also checkout the same.

I also live in Texas and a couple of years ago I decided to start wearing the Hermes scarves that I had to work. At the time, I was a communications manager at a chemicals company. Our office was downtown with a business casual dress code. I got a lot of comments from the beginning, mostly positive, some were snarky, but nothing really negative. One thing led to another, I started buying more and wearing one almost every day. It got to the point where I felt naked without one! In fact, one of the EA's actually gave me an unworn H scarf that she had received as a gift over 10 years ago and never wore.
I definitely think scarves fit in with corporate environments.

Totally agree! I love pairing a scarf with my work outfits. Less often in the warmer months but I wear them through out the year. I prefer wearing a silk scarf if I plan on keeping the scarf on all day, there is a million wears to tie them but this is my favorite "go to" for work.I haven't had any comments about the scarves and I see plenty of them around the office. Not only do they brighten up the outfit but keep you warm at the same time! If you're anything like me, I'm reaching for layers the second the air con kicks in. I also love keeping a big pashmina like a shawl at work, to just throw over my shoulders if it gets a bit chilly, almost like a big blanket.
