Shoes, this is a great thread! I need help in this area, too--I have a "chaine d'ancre" style and am not quite sure how best to maneuver a scarf through it . . . .
Yes Kallie!! Thanks for the visual! I should have asked the SA in the store recently for some lessons lol....I am not good at these things!! So you really don't need to make a knot after using the ring then?? Cool -- and btw, what's the name of the scarf? I think I just ordered this from the website!

I have it in Palladium. Shoes, I think I have seen a pic of your ring. Basically, fold in triangle or oblong fold and just bring the two ends right thru. If your scarf is of stiffer silk, it works better. If you really want to feature the ring, then pull thru and then take each end and bring around the back of the neck (left and right) and tie ends behind you. This will make the ring stand out like a piece of jewellry. I would really like this with Shoes' ring as it has a drop.
Thank you, gracekelly! May I ask, when people say to put one end of the scarf UP through one side of the chaine d'ancre, and one end of the scarf DOWN through the other side. . . Could somebody illustrate how this looks when completed? I know it's simple, yet I can't picture it (duh, I know!).
