Scarf question

I want to get a legacy stripe scarf to tie on the handle of my Ali and (soon to be my) legacy shoulder bag. How did you do this? And did you just get the square scarf? Or the ponytail? Or do you use an oblong? Tie it in a bow? Or just in a knot and let it hang? Photos would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

IF you go to a store, they will tell you you are sold out, but they are usually tied onto the floor models! That's how I found mine!
