wonderful! Good one with the ommmmm. Never get tired of seeing venise

I love Soirée!! I can’t get enough of those cherubs in the corner. Such a unique you have with the hem and cashmere. Wonderful! I had the aqua/tealish one with white hem and returned it because I was trying to be good and said to myself I have plenty in these tones already. needless to say, regrets galore over here.

Congrats! Love your styling of it! wonderful way to show so much of the scarf colors. And the necklace, love.

Lovely outfit And styling of scarf.
Nomad, thank you for your nice comments!

Thank you, Cookie!

Such a beautiful colorway, so serene!

Thanks twin! ❤
Thank you, sweet!

Off topic today, and wearing a repeat from last week… I’ve been so busy I hadn’t put it away yet!
So… hrmmmm…. My song for today’s scarf could be “Windy”
”And Windy has stormy eyes
That flash at the sound of lies
And Windy has wings to fly
Above the clouds (above the clouds)
Above the clouds (above the clouds)”

It *could* be windy at Au Bout du Monde!

Love this!

I was thrilled when this silk shawl appeared a few months ago on h.com. As others have said, birds definitely remind me of music.

Twins Snausages! Pretty with Mors ring.

Dans L'Atelier De Robert reminds me of 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' by The Tokens, although I think only one line drawing (bottom center) is a lion cub. The famous chorus in the song, 'Wimoweh', is actually a
misheard lyric that was recorded by the person writing down the music. The original is 'Uyimbube' a word that means 'you are a lion' in Swahili.

:faint: great way to wear it this time. amazing pop of color w your blazer.

couldn't agree more. Great on you!

So great with both! love the green one! Which is it? And amazing how you got the pink heart to stand out so much in the second. If the black ever pops up online I am going to give that one a try.
Thank you sweetheart!

I love the song of the ocean, and how you’ve tied this!
And now I have that stuck in my head! Fabulous scarf!

TY Nomad! It’s the Luna necklace - it came in 3 sizes and the difference was how big the bib was. I’ve been vaguely obsessed with the larger versions which occasionally pop up on TRR.

TY Agrume! It’s been cooling off finally. *Almost* cashmere weather!

TY Cookie! I blame, er, credit this group for my Coupons obsession

OMG perfection! It’s almost blazer and cashmere weather in Texas…

Fabulous against the blue!

Both are excellent knots Laurenad! May I ask how you did the first knot?

TY Bunnycat and I have serious UTW envy!
Thanks sweets! ❤️
First of all - happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate it!

LOL, @Cookiefiend! :giggle:

Safe travels, @LKBNOLA, and how nice to know that among all your wonderful scarves there is also a JdA you‘ll wear today!

What a lovely cw, scarf sister!

Lovely, lovely, lovely. PaV in any cw is one design for which I just might leave Ban Island.

Very good idea!

Thank you, @Agrume!
I love your TdV…another design that would lure me away from my permanent home on Ban Island.

Love them all!
Thank you! I think I might have a small obsession with bird scarves!

SOTD: A vivid Charmante aux Animaux to brighten up a grey November day. You can just spot the musical instrument (is it a lute??) that Sheherazade is strumming.

Such a fantastic color, and perfect with your top!

I took piano lessons for many years as a child. I memorized and played “Clair de Lune” by Claude Debussy for a piano solo contest my freshman year of high school. I continued to play this lovely piece thoughout my adult life, at least until the pain from arthritis in my fingers took all the fun out of playing the piano. :frown:

For those of you who would like to hear this beautiful piano solo, here is Debussy himself playing Clair de Lune. (It is less than 4 minutes long and worth a listen.)

Debussy plays Debussy | Clair de Lune (1913) - YouTube

Is it any wonder that when I hear the words "Clair de Lune" that they remind me of this piece of music? Of course, I had to purchase the scarf.

Happy Thanksgiving to those in the USA.

SOTD is Clair de Lune.

This Attelage à quatre is a dream! The middle row with the brown and white horses is so beautiful. Thank you for showing it flat.
Thanks  & you’re very welcome
(the middle row is my fav’, too)

I am TIA with this makeup strategy @turfnsurf! But TPF is inspiring to go beyond the two that I wear. Another slippery slope...

This was a great post and I love the variation of "music to my ears"! And really, after last week and this, I NEED to find a Les Boxes in a color like this...

@turfnsurf! No one could ever think you are a one trick pony (though that emoji is adorable!). I agree the Attelages is wonderful -- Congratulations on finding a rare Ledoux beauty and for introducing it to us!
Where to start? Firstly- hoping your travels were safe & uneventful. On to: Lippies- these are fun little nothings once you begin collecting silks... Then: LesBoxes- so many good colorways of this one! Finally- Thank You for sweet sentiments & well-wishes :hugs:

I love everything about this post!

This Les Boxes is so lovely!!!
And all the equine artwork - really beautiful.
Many thanks dear Moma... I do love them so.

The scene - at my desk feverishly working and trying to end my 50th conference call of the day. The doorbell rings and the dog starts going crazy - ahh the mail is here. Not just any mail but ….. SCARF MAIL!! My heart skips a beat and I wrap up the call abruptly (lol). I swear it felt like I was in a cartoon - the part when they open a treasure box and blinding light and that heavenly hum begins - ahhhhhh. Same day as earlier post so same sweater - not quite a match. Don’t judge me for just chucking this baby on without proper cleaning and care. My new to me - prierès au vent. I think this one could be on musical theme with the quiet whisper of the pilgrims’ meditation and movement. Or the eagles’ cries and the wind whipping the prayer flags. I’m in love with this and so happy to have it this week. Better outfit next time! Thanks for letting me ramble.
