Scarves Scarf Of The Day 2019 - Which Hermès scarf are you wearing today?

I bought 7 scarves in 2019. Five were stalked. Two were impulse buys--Carpe Diem gav to use up my $60 of ebay bucks before they expired and an Indian Dust that a friend was rehoming. Only one purchase was a current season scarf--Sweet Dreams. I either owe or blame Fifi's instagram pics for the lust created in me for this scarf and Joannadyne for bringing this design to my attention.. Two of the five stalked scarves were super grails for me. ELEK 140 and C'est La Fete 70. The CLF was my last must have scarf. I had been searching for this colorway for two years. So thrilled to finally have it. Hope the pics are not too huge when they load.

Oh my goodness... all amazing! And, I see some of my Grails there: ELeK in CSGM and C’est la Fete... You did good as those are sooo hard to find! And, gorgeous CWs to boot. Congrats on each one of these beauties!

So, 2019 wasn’t only the year that I added the first 70s to my scarf collection, but also the year that I began wearing giant silks and CSGMs.
And, I do have some awards to give in this category. My favorite and the most stunning large silk that I have ever seen is Sieste au Paradis. Even if I would never wear it, I would be happy just lovingly staring at it. I purchased two CWs in December to try on and pick one, but I just couldn’t bring myself to returning either. As a matter of fact, I’m thinking of getting another one.
This was before dinner on New Years Eve. I had walked in with it as a bias fold, but it was a bit chilly and I loosely draped it later

Thank you so much... Blue Sieste has become sort of a “special occasions” silk already. I get compliments on it everywhere! And, the TP is a treasure... Also wore it to a wedding in October... So versatile as well.... Thank you!

You are very kind to say this. I am slow to warm up to designs and then it takes me forever to decide on a colorway. By the time I decide they are no longer in the boutique. I spent years thinking about what colorway would work on ELEK. The really complex color combos are challenging. I agree with whoever made the observation that you seem to be able to wear all colors. Your pictures are educational for us all.

We are twins on the Index Palmarum, you show so well what I like about it: depending on the knot it is either predominantly green or red/teal.
Such tropic vibes, need to take mine out during these grey days!

I finally perused my records and in denial at the vintage scarf total that lept into my cart in 2019. Should take a vaca’ to Ban Isle, but there’s a few temptations to resolve first.

My Oscarf goes to Sportsman & Runner up is Puzzle II since it was a gift from my dear mother:

He is a dear boy, so close to me... but on the other hand - they are all MY Boys. Mine, mine, mine!
This is a favorite week - it shows what makes our hearts sing. I am so happy for you with your mother’s gift. Something that can’t be duplicated or replaced. Congratulations sweetheart.

That ELeK is beautiful! I have a 90 in a demure cw and recently succumbed to another. It hasn't arrived yet and I hope it doesn't look garish on me (I'm taking a chance here).
