Hi everyone! I'm going to be in Vegas soon and I wanted to make my first Hermes purchase. :yahoo: Please excuse my newbie questions.
I have been looking at the La Femme aux Semelles de Vent for a very long time. I was thinking of the white colorway (sorry I don't have the reference number), but I noticed today that it wasn't on the website anymore. Does this mean that it is no longer available in boutiques?

Hi - what fun to get your first H scarf! I have this gorgeous design in 2 colors myself. No, the fact that it is not on the website does not mean that it is not available in the boutiques. When will you be in Vegas? You may want to call the boutique there to have them check for the scarf for you. Because of Christmas, the scarves sell quite quickly. However, some will also come back as returns after the holiday! If you have your heart set on the specific scarf and colorway, I would ask the store to charge and hold the scarf for me and, if they don't have it, I'd ask them to try to get it in by the time of your visit. I believe a second H boutique is now open in Vegas, but I have only been to the one in Bellagio. Good luck, enjoy your visit there!

Do you mean this colorway? It's color 08, ref # 002496S 08

Luvbolide has good advice - you can choose a LasV boutique to call in advance, let them know you'll be shopping with them soon and ask them if they have this scarf with this ref # - if they don't, they can get it in for you to look at.

The website has their own inventory. They do not order every design nor every color way of a design. Even if a color or a design disappears from the web site it does not mean it is unavailable in the boutiques. It is a good place to start your hunt though!

Katel - Yes!! The second one is exactly the one that I want. Thank you for the reference number. I do like the white one better, but hey maybe a different color or style would work better on me. You never know until you play a little. :p

Thanks Luvbolide and vildachya for the advice and SA contact information. I'm flying out Sunday morning. I might have some time to call after all of these family events for the holidays. I'm really excited!!
