Went to my local FP store to just browse at lunch today. On my way out, I asked if they had any Prestons and she said they had one in the back. She came out with it and it was Sea Mist. I had been dying to see that color (in any bag) and I absolutely loved it. They actually had a black on black signature one too.

I have decided to allow myself ONE spring bag (one bag per quarter) so I decided to get Sea Mist and bring her home to look at her with all of my clothes. I think the color will go with pretty much everything I wear. I am so in love with this color. What do you guys think?

She was all wrapped up too and just perfect. I was never in love with Mint, because it was too green for me, but this color has much more blue in it. I had no plans to get another Preston - I had thought about another hobo in Sea Mist or the cafe carryall in Sea Mist, but when I saw this one, I really loved it.

Oh what a BEAUTY kcoach!!! I don't blame you at all for grabbing it up. I've been debating on buying a Preston in black or the Toaster Satchel with my PCE all week. Congratulations and enjoy!


On another note, how weird is it that they had it in the back? Are they not trying to sell stuff? Oh, I am so very glad it was back there so you could have it but I just don't understand Coach. Right now they have Preston's and Toaster's at Jax that aren't on their website but I can call and order them. What on earth are they waiting for???? People who aren't tPF members probably don't know about these bags so they can't buy them until they are on the site or in the store. Coach is strange.

jailnurse - I agree - what the heck is their strategy? The SA I talked to was clueless too. She said to be careful ordering from JAX, as sometimes the stores can't do returns/exchanges from there. HUH? And she said sometimes when you order from them, it's coming from Coach in Asia. Again, HUH? She knew nothing about the stage site, and questioned whether it was a legit Coach site. I gave up when I realized I knew more than she did about the product she sells...

Anyway, I am glad I asked about the Prestons and super glad it was Sea Mist. I didn't think I'd get this bag in another color (other than maybe the camel with pink trim if I ever saw that one in person). I guess they didn't have it out since they only had 2 in Sea Mist and 1 in siggy black. She did say they were putting more stuff out tomorrow, so who knows what was really back there? :-)
