SATC HBO release vs DVD and movie

I've heard that the SATC (Sec and the City) movie that is on HBO this month in the US has extra scenes that were not included in the DVD or in the movie release.

Can anyone confirm that?

My girlfriend said there is a scene where Carrie goes trick or treating with Harry, Charlotte and Lilly. And a few more - but I can't remember.

I just remembered another one she told me. In the part where Carrie is packing up her apartment and trying on clothes. In the HBO version it has all the girls trying on clothes - not just Carrie. I only remember Carrie changing clothes and the girls voting on them. They don't try them on.

I have those extra scenes on my DVD! It comes with the version seen in theaters and then there's an extended version, that shows all the scenes!

i only watched the hbo movie so i can't say. but the trick or treat scene did seem extraneous (though i liked the scene where they all tried on her clothes). i was a little bummed that i didn't recognize more outfits from that scene -- it would have been cool to see sjp or one of the other ladies wearing the exact clothes from an episode. like that crazy lederhosen that carrie wears to the park!

Thank you for your explanation. I saw it in the movie theatre and it did not have those scenes. So they must be included in the DVD and the HBO movie.

I guess another reason to buy the movie!
