These two watches by Longines (Dolce Vita range) are the same design (and size) - only difference is one has diamonds along the side. Difference in price is $1500. The diamond watch looks so elegant on......but I wear my watch on my left arm so my rings are not far away from the watch, so am wondering is it better to put this extra money into something else? Hmm, can't decide what to do! Advice appreciated please!

Do you wear a ring or bling wedding band/engagement ring? If you have a very bling ring, then go for the watch without diamonds. If you wear a simple band as a ring, but go for the diamond on the watch. But you can never have enough blings so I would vote for the diamond on the watch, espc if its going to be for special occasion. A little sparkle never hurts!

If you don't have a diamond watch, this would be a fantastic option. I think this diamond watch could wear casually or dressy.

The non-diamond version is beautiful as well! Good luck with your decision.

I have an Omega two-tone which I wear mostly, but am looking for a second watch that is all stainless....will most probably be worn 75% special occasion/evening and 25% day.......I'm probably more a smart casual dresser and more classic (conservative:D) than trendy!

Based on this, I'd pick the diamond version.

IDK. In this style I think the one w/o diamonds looks sleeker and more modern.

I prefer it w/o the diamonds, I LOVE bling. But for this watch the plain is more my style.
