I look back fondly on the fun of setting up a new place and settling into the neighborhood. Did it many times. I'm not sure I endeared myself to a few landlords though with my penchant for painting one wall a fabulous periwinkle blue, just as delicious as the Tiffany blue. I say do it!

(I wasn't sure I could paint, either, but when she showed me what my place would look like . . . . mine is on the seventh floor, the one she showed is on the fifth floor . . . that new owner painted her walls a navy blue. The super didn't seem to have a problem with it.)
