They have a sale coming up in September, though my SA mentioned end August.

I am all ears!! and will try to hold out until then? Do Twillies usually go on sale? I want to buy a few for my herbag handle.

The sale at Hermes stores are usually RTW only. I've never seen leather goods/twillies/scarves on sale at stores.

But my friends did buy me a little something in barenia. 
Looking at the pictures, I'd say the sale is definitely worth checking out.

Last summer's sale was quite disappointing
- some RTW, mixed up on racks
- some china, but behind tables & you had to get hold of an SA to show it to you
- shoes - a mixed bag
- only bags that I saw were garden party & the small leather cluth - whose name I have forgotten
- nothing worthwhile
- saw basolutely no jewelry eg enamel
- they forgot to put out the plisse scarves until the 3rd day
- a handful of cash scarves Lujo Criollo
- no tiwllies
so what did they have ? 90 cm silk scarves, mostly undistinguished designs
- some RTW, mixed up on racks
