When items go out of stock at Saks during their sales, do they ever come back?

Not always. depends on the item and if it’s early enough in the sale season. If they do come back, it might be a defective return. If you see something you love, it’s best to grab it immediately. I still kick myself for missing out on a perfect pair of brunello pants on sale. I told myself there was always next season. And, my brunello SA said they were never done again. SAKS also used to do a consolidation (kind of a last chance sale) in NY. But, if you are hunting for something in particular, it is best to have a dedicated SA do a country wide search for you.

What was the item if you don't mind sharing? Maybe you can find someone selling online? I imagine some people purchase sale/ discounted items with the specific intent of trying to resell?

Also, do they have a "notify me when back in stock" option? Sounds like probably not if this was a final sale. I recently purchased something (though it was not on sale) from saks that had previously been sold out. When 1 suddenly appeared available, I snagged it. I was thinking maybe someone purchased and returned the item but if the item you want is final sale I guess there won't be any chance of a return 😞
