Saks Potts Coat Help Please

I recently bought a brown saks potts coat. It's perfect condition, but there is a weird almost marijuana leaves like smell on the leather but not the fur. . The person I bought it from does not smoke. Looking on the internet, I found that some times the tanning process can cause this type of smell. Has anybody experienced this with leather Coats? And how do I get the smell out?. I've wiped it down with water twice and let it air dry outside . I'm really hesitant to put anything on the coat. Please help Thank you

What an absolutely stunning coat! Is there a leather cleaning service in your area you can reach out to for advice?

Thank you. I have reached out to a couple different places. But I'm just scared to do anything to it. The leather is so soft and beautiful.. I wiped it down with some water and the smell faded a lot so I might try that again.. I'm also gonna Consider putting it out in the sun for a few hours and see if that helps.. I was just wondering if anybody else has this problem with their leather. Because I know Hermès has some issues with their birkin bags smelling like that. They actually had their customers bring in the bags. And they replaced the leather panels that were smelling like that.
