Saks or Cartier store

Is there a difference from buying Cartier jewelry at Saks? I've only purchased from the Cartier stores, but have some gift certificates at Saks and wondering if there was a downside of purchasing at Saks.

I purchased my Love at the Cartier inside Saks, because I had gift cards also. It's a leased department so Cartier makes the rules. I didn't see any difference, but I didn't get a Champagne bottle or a cleaning kit.

Thanks Barbie444! They are the same as the stores. Same computer system and I get Saks points! Great!

Yes you get points but they don't participate in double or triple points you just get single points even if you are a Platnium or Diamond card member with saks. I tried to haggle a little with no success.
