I saw my DH received some gift card for HANDBAGS purchases....

$750 - $100 off

$1500 - $250 off

$2500 - $500 off

Excludes online purchase, leased collections, and some designers, so definitely no DIOR, LV, Miu Miu, Prada, Gucci, Fendi......

I have not confirmed if CHANEL is included, but could be since it is not leased.

If so what would you buy ???

Hmmm.....Celine? Valentino? If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the gift cards? If Chanel is included, please let us know =)

I got a text from my Saks SA regarding a Gift Card Event that starts on Sept 26. Not sure if it's the same thing you are referring to since the GC values are different.

Spend $250-499 get $35
Spend $500-999 get $75
Spend $1000-1999 get $150
Spend $2000-2999 get $450
Spend $3000+ get $700

I was told Chanel was excluded last time.

It is different.....He does not have Saks card, so that is why....!?

So that you will go spend money at Saks. Flyers, especially those with coupons, are a tried and true marketing ploy. Perhaps they see the coming (seems they plan sooooooooo many months in advance) holiday season, and want you in their store early so you see more things you want to buy?

Agree, certainly a plan to get all of us in the store to do some holiday shopping. I also receive the coupon in the mail. Marketing ploy for the upcoming season

Oh, and to answer the OP, I'd buy...gift cards...but if not those, then nail polish (I blame thie beauty nail forum on tpf for making my love for polish explode beyond how far it already was), or something pretty and sparkly...but for $500 that's not easy these days.

Thank you for answering my question. I did not write clearly, but if I buy a handbag priced more than $2500, I will get $500 off with this GC.

Triple points for diamond is technically speaking 18% off. I do my math and I think this deal works the best if I found something I love priced between $2500 to $2800.....:P

I got these coupons too so I just asked the online chat lady about exclusions . The shoe coupon is for online and in store so the exclusions are below. The handbag coupon is only in store so she couldn't tell me the exclusions. She said it's likely the same as the shoes.

uff I can't upload the list . I will be back to upload it.
