Saint Laurent hat for Spring: yay or nay?

Sorry if there is a topic on this already. I'm obsessed w these hats. What do y'all think about them?

I love hats and have two small wool felt fedoras which I find difficult to work into my wardrobe in a relatively warm climate because of their wintery feel. The 'poor boy' caps are easier to wear regardless of season. I also have a wide brimmed sun hat which I only wear to the beach. It's so incredibly annoying because it keeps wanting to fly off and you can't see more than half a metre ahead. I feel like I need a guide dog to wear it! I'd recommend trying it in the store first.

I live in the south and I'm not sure i could really wear it to too many things. I was able to try it and its lovely albeit quite big I just like the idea of it

I think that's an amazing hat. The thing about hats is that you got to have the right body type to pull them off! If you are not somewhat on the thinner side, they might make your figure look a little big more square than what you actually are! Good Luck! The hat is divine!

The fabric is a very sheer cotton. I wear a tank top underneath. It's a great shirt with pleating and gold cuff links. I can take more pics of it if you'd like. I have gotten so many compliments on it!! It's worth it

Yes the hat is pretty wide, it barely fits through the door

That sounds nice with the gold cufflinks. I hope it wears well for a long time. About the hat, I wonder why some shots I've seen have the hat brims straight and others - floppy. Does it get softer over time or can it be shaped differently? And does it fly off in the wind?

It can be shaped to flop over and pop back to a neutral position. I think over time it may soften as it is rabbit felt.

It does tend to get affected by wind haha
