I've been posting about this over at the Michael Kors forum however decided to make a quick post here.
My MK selma mini broke and, long story short, MK customer services made me cut it up for a replacement (which I made a video of me doing, because it's not every day one gets to cut up a designer bag)
Anyway, although I've had this experience with electronics, where they make you cut the attached wire to make sure you aren't just scamming them for another free *something*, I was surprised to be asked to do it for a designer bag!
I guess when your bags are made in Vietnam you can afford to have your customers cut them up for a replacement, although I still expected them to just repair it (less than half an inch of leather had come unsewn).
Has anybody else had an experience like this?
