Hi everyone! I am looking to buy/order my first Saffiano Tote..looking at both the NS and EW...I am still kinda new to Coach only having a few bags/wallets/wristlet....and I want something pretty durable that I dont have to constantly worry about.
(I read on here a lot of you love the saffiano leather.)
How BIG are the EW and NS totes? Are they HUGE or normal size? I am 5'6 .
I had the ticking stripe tote last summer..the medium. .are they much bigger? I just dont want HUGE.
If anyone has any pics Id love to see and get an idea. Thanks so much:-)

Hi! I don't own one myself - but I had tried on both the N/S and E/W before - no Large. And thought they were a great sized tote. Not too large. I am about 5'7".


You can check out the thread with Mod Shots and do a search. I know I saw a couple with Saffiano Totes.

This is the navy n/s that is in the FP stores now. I got it back when it first came out I am 5'2". I also own the original saff totes in cobalt and vermillion. IMHO - these bags are awesome. I especially like the newer style because they can be dressed up or down. i think the original totes look more casual (but no less awesome)

The N/S tote is taller than the ticking tote.
(I do like the size of the ticking tote very much, but not the E/W saffiano since it is a lot wider and imo looks strange on my frame for my height , I am 5'9.)
I did post some comparison pictures in this thread . These might help you decide since the ticking tote and N/S SAFFIANO is pictured. Plus I added some more pics. for you also. Hope that helps.

This ^ I agree ! I love these N/S SAFFIANO totes. Twins on the navy, looks great on you !:smile1:

I have 3 of last season's saffiano totes. I like the e/w style so I don't have to reach too deep into it like in the n/s.
I'm 5'5" & here's a mod shot w/ my e/w robin from last August when I was pretty darn pregnant, lol.

I LOVE the look of the E/W Saffiano totes, but I found them to be too wide for me. When carrying it on the shoulder, I worry a lot that I will bump into people with my bag, or worse, knock over some display at a store!! (:bagslap: Sorry lady! Didn't mean to knock you over... It was just my tote bag! LOL!!)

I do have a N/S tote from last season, and I love it. I get what other posters are saying about the bag being deep and having to reach way down into the bag to get stuff. The bag holds its shape really well, though, so it's not too bad to reach for things.

ImageUploadedByPurseForum1400673449.704497.jpg I am 5'2" and I love the n/s saff tote. I have it in bronze and ivory and as the previous poster said, you can dress it up or down. Right now, this is my go to bag and can't seem to bring myself to change out of it.

The e/w was too wide and made me look shorter than the n/s. This style elongates my stunted frame. :-)

I just got the Madison Phoebe large and love it. The leather is the same as my punch Madison leather tote and that has withstood 1+ year of almost daily use and it still looks great. . Mind you, I try not to drop it anywhere or get it wet but I certainly do not baby it. I love it over my Tory Burch and Rebecca Minkoff.
